Is it possible to run pytorch without installation as a python package

Hi,

Since I am looking into the source code of pytorch, and I don’t want to install that whenerver I modify some of the codes.

So, is it possible to run the pytorch without installation as a python package?

In the previous version of pytorch, I could do that via the following,

cd pytorch
mkdir build
cmake .. && make -j12

and export the necessary python path

 export PYTHONPATH=$PYTHONPATH:$HOME/pytorch/build/lib.linux-x86_64-2.7:$HOME/pytorch/build/lib.linux-x86_64-2.7/caffe2

everything is fine if I want to import torch.

But in the current version of pytorch, I can only see the caffe2 related library in the build directory, no torch python files can be found.

Any advise?

thank you

I Just find a way to do so.

python setup.py build

after that, everything is in the build directory.
