Merging ATen with Caffe2

As far as I know, Facebook has recently announced that it is merging ATen and Caffe2. My guess is that they will add a neural network library into ATen, and maybe auto differentiation. Am I right? Is there any approximate time for releasing the first version?

And, is it going to affect Pytorch?

These questions are mostly targeted in this post and as far as I know, the release should be scheduled in late summer/autumn.
