Secondary GPU for display output

Hello I have been thinking about getting a secondary GPU for display output something like a GT710 which can be had new for around 70 dollars. The reason for this is that my computer lags terribly while I am training and becomes basically unusable due to high GPU usage.

I currently use a GTX1070 to do my training. I was wondering if using this secondary GPU would cause any issues when I run my training on my 1070?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a reasonable priced secondary GPU to use for display out?

No, the small “display” GPU shouldn’t cause any issues and I’ve had a similar setup in the past in order to free the memory usage of the main GPU.
