Retired 2022 after 44 years programming mainly focused on SQL DB’s. Specialty is finding the root cause of memory/data corruption, race conditions, and the hardest of the hard bugs to solve. Whether it is at IBM/Informix, Salesforce, Amazon or Microsoft there is ‘that’ bug that lingers for months that the experts can’t solve. I’m the guy that solves them. Also specialize in performance improvements in the entire software stack. If I can’t find a single 10% improvement I’ll find 20 .5% perf improvements to get 10%.
But now I have time to learn AI/NN. Stable Diffusion allows me to get my hands dirty with problems to solve allowing me to learn.
