Alper Kürşat Uysal received the B.S. degree in computer engineering from Selcuk University, Turkey, in 2002, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from Anadolu University, Turkey, in 2005 and 2013, respectively. The title of his Ph.D. thesis was “New approaches to enhancing the performance on text classification”. He was an Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Engineering at Anadolu University, Turkey from 2013 to 2018. He worked as an Associate Professor in Computer Engineering Departments of Eskişehir Technical University and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University until 2021. He has been an Associate Professor in Computer Engineering Department of Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University since 2021. Also, he was a Visiting Research Fellow with the ECE Department, University of Michigan-Dearborn, USA, from 2016 to 2017 for 12 months.
