I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the State University of Campinas — UNICAMP, in Brazil, and from the University of Alberta in Canada, in the doctorate-sandwich modality. I conducted research, as a Postdoctoral researcher, at the Institute of Computing at UNICAMP, between 2015 and 2019, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Guido Araujo. My research interests are concentrated in the areas of Programming Languages, High-Performance Computing, Parallel Programming, Heterogeneous Computing, Code Optimization, and Compilers. I have over 30 years of experience in the development and management of information technology products, projects, and services, with proven experience in conducting differentiated technological innovation projects, as well as in the development of new products in partnership with Samsung, LGE, IBM, Microsoft, among others. I held, for over 10 years, management positions at the Center for Research and Development in Telecommunications ---- CPqD in the areas of IT and Business Intelligence. I have published more than a dozen articles in renowned international conferences and journals and received the award for the best scientific article at the IEEE SBAC-PAD 2017. I am currently conducting research at the Center for Petroleum Studies (CEPETRO) at UNICAMP.
