Is there a recommended linux distribution for pytorch? I understands ubuntu 17.x is not officially supported by CUDA, so I’m assuming the LTS ubuntu (16.04) is recommended instead? Any other distros that would work as well or better for pytorch and other machine learning work?
anything will work as long as it is newer than 2012 (at this point). we dont have a particular recommended distro.
I think you’ll find Ubuntu 16.04 has the best-developed support infrastructure.
