RuntimeError: Cannot insert a Tensor that requires grad as a constant

Hi - torch.jit.trace is throwing a runtime error on a forward method that is returning outputs from every layer in a sequence. Any suggestions on how to make this work? Thanks!

Code in question:

    def forward(self, x):
        outs = []
        for idx, layer in enumerate(self.layers):
            x = layer(x)
            outs.append(x)
        return tuple(outs)

self.layers:

BUMP!
Somewhat related: I am trying to save my model as shown below:

Any hints would be very helpful. Thanks.

Hi, did you ever find out what caused this error?
Because I’m getting the same error with very similar code, and any hints would be greatly appreciated!
