What books have you read to learn ML?

Hi,

My university is in the process of purchasing some ML books. I wanted to ask what ML book you found the most helpful and would highly recommend reading.

So far, I’ve enjoyed reading:

  • Deep Learning by Ian Goodfellow - ISBN-10 - 0262035618
  • Artificial Intelligence Basics: A Non-Technical Introduction by Tom Taulli - ISBN-10 - 1484250273
  • Python: Beginner’s Guide to Artificial Intelligence: Build applications to intelligently interact with the world around you using Python by Denis Rothman - ISBN-10 - 178995732X

Do you recommend any PyTorch-specific books?

You could check Deep Learning with PyTorch which was written by @lantiga, @elistevens, and @tom, and which I’ve enjoyed reading.
